In more recent times, some couples have begun opting for cakes with a difference such as more daring designs or even a tower of cupcakes! Envision this: a huge stack of brownies! You can arrange them in tiers for maximum impact with a nod to tradition and you can also go for as many flavours as you like, which will keep all the guests happy, whatever their preferences! Birthdays come but once a year so why not show your loved ones you care when they do? If you’re not able to spend time with your friend or family member this year due to the restrictions, sending a tasty brownie parcel will be even more gratefully received and a lovely surprise! Just to say…

It’s nice to send a little gift sometimes to say ‘thank you’ or ‘well done’ to someone. Acknowledging that something they’ve done for you has been helpful will make them feel appreciated and also make them more likely to help again another time! It’s also nice to give a pat on the back if someone you know does well or achieves something. Passing an exam, getting a new job and moving house are all reasons to celebrate! Lockdown #3

We’re going through tough times right now - lockdown is hard! Many of us haven’t seen our friends and family for months, possibly since the rule of 6 was introduced back in September, or perhaps because ourselves or loved ones have been shielding. Lots of people give up chocolate for lent - perhaps for religious reasons or just to challenge themselves! If you’re planning to do this, lent starts on Wednesday 17 February so be sure to go out with a bang and order some of our delicious chocolate brownies to enjoy before then!
