A special note about Monday deliveries

Please note that orders where Monday delivery is selected are dispatched on the preceding Friday.  In some instances DPD may attempt an earlier delivery on the Saturday or Sunday.

If you're not happy to take earlier delivery please respond to the DPD e-mail or text message notification when you receive it and re-schedule the delivery date to Monday.  Unfortunately we're unable to influence DPD's delivery schedules once your order has left us on the Friday, so can not stop an earlier delivery from our end.  Alternatively you can select any other delivery day from Tuesday to Friday when placing your order so this won't be an issue.

Delivery delays

Unfortunately we're unable to accept responsibility for delivery delays.  We allow customers to select their preferred delivery date, however this is not a 100% guarantee that they will arrive on that date as there will occasionally be delivery delays that are out of our control.  We will always dispatch your order the day before your preferred delivery date and DPD do attempt delivery next working day on >98% of deliveries, but if you need to guarantee that your delivery is received by a certain date please ensure you select an earlier date just in case.

Homemade brownies for delivery

The Homemade Brownie Company bake and supply brownies for delivery to homes and businesses across the UK.

Delivery will be added at checkout and our standard delivery charge is £4.95 for DPD's fully tracked service.  Delivery is free for orders of £40.00 or more to the same address!

How our brownies are packaged

Each brownie box is carefully prepared, baked, cut and internally wrapped with our beautifully branded baking paper to keep them fresh.  They are then placed precisely in our made-to-measure packaging, designed to ensure that your brownies arrive in pristine condition. 

How our brownies are delivered

Our standard delivery method is DPD’s fully tracked service and you will select your preferred delivery date when placing your order.  We will dispatch your order the day before your selected delivery date and although DPD’s services don’t guarantee next day delivery, they do attempt next day >98% of the time.  If you need to be 100% sure that your delivery arrives by a certain date we would suggest you select an earlier delivery date to allow for the rare instances when they don't achieve next day.  

Orders placed before 3pm will be available for dispatch the next working day and orders placed after 3pm will be available for dispatch a day later.

DPD’s fully tracked services deliver from Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) and there are delivery upgrade options available at checkout.  However, please note the comments above about Monday deliveries

All DPD services are fully trackable online and come with e-mail and text alerts so you can follow the progress of your brownie delivery from the moment it leaves us until the moment it arrives at your door.  If you’re not going to be in you can choose from a number of options online, such as leaving your delivery in a safe place, leaving it with a neighbour or re-scheduling for another day.  Note that DHL / DPD won’t leave your parcel if nobody’s in when they attempt to deliver, unless you’ve selected one of these options.  If you're unsure if you'll be in and want to ensure your parcel is left we would suggest selecting one of these options anyway as a back-up.

Delivery and packaging of larger orders, corporate orders and trade orders will always be arranged separately to fit whatever works best for you as the customer.    

How long our brownies last

All our brownies have a minimum shelf life of 2 weeks at room temperature, so please don't panic if you do miss your delivery.  An extra day in transit won't do them any harm and you can rest assured they'll still arrive in perfect condition.

Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands/Highlands and Channel Islands

Unfortunately we no longer offer delivery to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands/Highlands and the Channel Islands. DPD now charge an additional £20.00 for each parcel to these areas which is unviable and Royal Mail's service has become too unreliable as an alternative delivery method.  We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.


You're welcome to collect your order from us if that's your preference.  Please place your order online, select your preferred collection date (Monday to Friday only)* and use the discount code 'COLLECT' at checkout to remove the cost of delivery (£4.95) from the total price of your order.

We will contact you the day before your collection date (or on the day of your order for Bargain Box and Broken Brownie orders) to make arrangements for collection from our unit at Sterling House, Stroudley Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG24 8UG.  Collections are normally available during working hours from 3pm, but we will do our best to have them ready earlier if required (by arrangement only).

*We can normally get collections ready 24 hours earlier than deliveries, so please e-mail us on once you've received your order confirmation if you'd like to collect earlier than the selected date
