Delivery Delays

Whilst we always strive to meet your preferred delivery date, we cannot guarantee exact delivery timing due to occasional delays beyond our control.

Dispatch Timing: We dispatch all orders the working day before the chosen delivery date. DPD successfully deliver next working day on over 98% of deliveries; however, if you need guaranteed delivery by a specific date, we strongly recommend selecting an earlier delivery date to allow extra time.
Responsibility: Unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by couriers or missed deliveries as these are beyond our control.

Monday Deliveries

If you select Monday delivery, please note that your order will be dispatched on the preceding Friday and DPD may attempt delivery earlier, on Saturday or Sunday.

Re-scheduling: If you're not happy to take delivery earlier, please respond to DPD’s email or text notification once received to reschedule the delivery to Monday.
Avoidance: If you're not happy to accept the possibility of an earlier delivery, please DO NOT select a Monday delivery date. You can select any other delivery day (Tuesday to Friday) when placing your order.
Please Note: Once dispatched, we have no control over DPD’s delivery schedule so can not prevent an early delivery.

Delivery Charges

Standard Delivery: £4.95 for DPD’s fully tracked service.
Free Delivery: Orders of £40.00 or more to the same address qualify for free delivery.
Delivery Upgrades: Available at checkout for enhanced options.

Packaging

Every brownie box is carefully wrapped in our branded baking paper to keep it fresh, then placed in our custom-made packaging to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

Order Dispatch and Tracking

Delivery Date: You will select your preferred delivery date at checkout and we will dispatch your order the working day before your selected date. Please note that we can not guarantee delivery will arrive on that date due to occasional delays that are beyond our control. If you need guaranteed delivery by a specific date, we strongly recommend selecting an earlier delivery date to allow extra time.
Dispatch Schedule: Orders placed before 3pm are eligible for dispatch the following working day. Orders placed after 3pm will be eligible for dispatch one working day later.
Delivery Days: DPD’s standard tracked service operates Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
Tracking: You’ll receive email and text alerts with tracking updates. You can manage delivery options, such as rescheduling, leaving with a neighbour or selecting a safe place directly through DPD’s tracking system.

Shelf Life

Our brownies have a minimum shelf life of 2 weeks at room temperature, so a short delay in transit won’t affect their quality. You can rest assured they’ll arrive fresh and ready to enjoy.

Delivery Exclusions

We no longer offer delivery to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Islands/Highlands or the Channel Islands due to high additional delivery fees by DPD (£20 per parcel) and inconsistent service reliability with other carriers. We apologise for any inconvenience.

missing parcels & fraudulent claims

We always do everything we can to make sure your parcel gets to you. If your delivery doesn’t arrive as expected, please let us know and we’ll work with you and the courier to resolve the issue.

If after working with you and the courier we have good reason to believe a claim is dishonest, due to inconsistency or suspicious activity, we reserve the right to:

Decline any request for a refund or replacement;
Block future orders from the customer or associated addresses and;
Report the matter to Action Fraud (the UK’s national fraud and cyber crime reporting centre).

We take these steps to protect our business and ensure fair service for all our customers.

Collection Option

For those who prefer to collect:

How to Arrange: Place your order online, select the 'Collection' option and your preferred collection date (Monday to Friday only) at checkout.
Collection Location: Sterling House, Stroudley Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG24 8UG. Collections are typically available from 2pm.
Notification: You will receive an automated e-mail with full collection details once you have placed your order.
